Direct Response Products, an established marketing company that operates in 10 states is looking to expand to other major US cities with Area Sales Managers. - College Degree preferred, but not a must. - Experience as a Dealer Principal, General Manager or General Sales Manager is a plus. - If a balance of work and family life is important, this may be a perfect fit! - CRM experience is strongly encouraged.
The ideal Area Sales Manager candidate will be an "enterprising person" who has vast experience in both inside & outside sales, as he or she will need to be comfortable both over the phone & out in the field making sales calls. This position is for the confident candidate who is just as comfortable rubbing elbows with automotive dealerships & their upper management team members- as they are with the receptionist who greets them at the door. He or she will be self-motivated, naturally driven to set & accomplish goals, organized & accountable for heavy CRM maintenance, creative problem solving, and undeterred with sales resistance. Area Sales Manager candidate must be savvy in multi-tasking, meeting deadlines & have a great attention for detail. As this is an outside sales role you must have knowledge of the local area, strong senior management contacts and not have any impediments to driving several miles daily. This position requires 75% weekly travel to local automotive dealerships & 25% CRM maintenance, with email/ phone follow-up. Occasional out-of-town travel, but rare. This is a commission only position with an initial draw against commission. The ideal candidate should expect to earn approximately $8,000 per month. Job Type: Full-time Compensation: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 /year.
